Datacenter-Class NVIDIA A100 + Deep-Learning Engineer for Fast AI Prototypes

I help teams turn ideas into working AI prototypes by running custom PyTorch experiments on an NVIDIA A100 (80 GB). You get both the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and a deep-learning engineer, often at a lower total cost than renting the GPU alone.

Who Is This Service For?

What You Get When You Work With VDS Labs

NVIDIA A100 (80 GB) Compute

Your experiments run on a datacenter-class GPU, ideal for vision transformers, large convolutional networks, and other compute-heavy models.

Hands-On Deep-Learning Engineering

I do more than launch training jobs: I help design experiments, choose architectures, debug training instability, and profile performance.

Fixed-Price Prototype Quotes

After understanding your use case, I estimate the required GPU hours and engineering time, and send a fixed-price quote with a clear delivery date.

You Keep Everything

You own the trained models, code, notebooks, and reports. There are no hidden platform fees or lock-ins.

How the Prototyping Service Works

  1. Tell me about your idea
Use the form below or book a quick call to describe your data, goal, and current status (idea only, baseline model, etc.).
  2. I review and send a proposal
I come back with any follow-up questions and then send a fixed-price quote that includes scope, expected GPU usage, timeline, and deliverables.
  3. You approve and pay
For new clients, I usually work with a split (for example, 50% upfront, 50% on delivery). Payment can be handled via invoice and standard international methods.
  4. Prototyping on the A100
I implement the experiments, run training on the A100, and iterate where needed to reach the agreed goals (such as a certain metric on a validation set or a working demo).
  5. Delivery and hand-off
You receive code/notebooks, trained weights, a short report of what was tried and what worked, and simple instructions on how to run or extend the prototype.

Who Is Behind VDS Labs?

My name is David Vikstrand, a deep-learning engineer based in Sweden and founder of Vikstrand Deep Solutions (VDS).

I work directly in PyTorch, training custom neural networks on an NVIDIA A100 (80 GB) for real-world applications such as computer vision and representation learning. I have experience from research projects at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and from building practical AI systems for industry clients.

When you work with me, you get clear communication, transparent experiments, and a focus on moving from idea to working prototype as quickly and safely as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you just rent out the GPU?

No. This is a service, not raw GPU rental. You get access to an NVIDIA A100 together with my time as a deep-learning engineer. I design and run the experiments for you, which usually leads to better results and a lower total cost than renting and trying to figure everything out alone.

What does a typical prototype cost?

It depends on scope and data. Simple prototypes can be a few hundred dollars; more complex work (larger models, multiple experiments, or tricky data) can be higher. After you describe your use case, I’ll send a fixed-price quote before any commitment is required.

Do you work with clients outside Sweden?

Yes. Most of my work is fully remote, and I can collaborate with teams in Europe, the United States, and Asia. We can coordinate via email, chat, and video calls.

Can you sign an NDA?

Absolutely. If your project involves sensitive data or confidential business information, I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before we go into details.

What kinds of projects are a good fit?

Good fits include: training or fine-tuning vision models, experimenting with new architectures, improving an existing model’s accuracy or speed, and exploring self-supervised or representation-learning approaches. If you’re unsure, just describe your idea and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.

Describe Your Prototype and Get a Free Quote

Fill out the form below with as much detail as you’re comfortable sharing. I’ll review your project, ask any clarifying questions, and send back a free, no-obligation fixed-price quote.

Short description of your idea or goal (for example, “classify images into X categories”, “embed text for semantic search”, “prototype a vision transformer for defect detection”, etc.).

Anything else I should know? Architecture preferences, existing code, constraints, evaluation metrics, etc.

I usually respond within 1–2 business days with follow-up questions or a fixed-price quote. No commitment required.
